The practice of the Zoga 24 program integrates advanced meditation with healing and strengthening postures. It leads to activation of the cardiovascular system which has the power to initiate our natural, deep and powerful breathing rhythms. The postures stimulate and strengthen the fascia and gradually improve total body power and flexibility.
The psoas and core muscles of the spine and abdomen are toned and invigorated. The process of regular practice becomes the catalyst to a host of predictable internal biochemical reactions, gradually harmonizing the energetic relationships between the mind, emotional nervous system, the endocrine glands, and the internal organs.
Active posture maintenance and balanced movements raise the average core body temperature. The bone marrow eventually warms up as a result of this combined with improved blood circulation brought on by total body activation.
In order to get into the organic and energetic essence of the practice, concentration of mind is performed simultaneously. During the practice session, the student must focus on observing the range of emotions associated with feelings and thoughts. And each student may easily access a sensation of inner power as a result of posture movement sequences and the effort needed to maintain them.
Academic plan

The Student begins to learn the 24 postures of the Form, focusing on correct alignment and internal structural technique. Natural breathing is emphasized, and attention to instructions. The sincerity of desire is tested, but like walking up a large hill, the difficulty is only in summoning the courage to begin moving in the right direction.
The Student begins the process of creating deeper strength by execution of the postures in the prescribed order, while observing the creation and dissolution of mental resistance, and the activation of the shenguang (mind-light) by the xin-yi (heart-mind). Energy, properly focused, creates more energy.
The Student observes the changes in the body brought about by the concentrated techniques of the 3rd sequence; the combination of the rigor and focus activates the hidden catalyst effect between the mind and body, transforming vitality into true spirit. Emotional conflicts and avoidance tactics must be confronted before the balance of peace can be realized.
The Student reviews the Form but in reverse order, as the inner channels are stimulated to clear and expand their power capacity. The attitude becomes curious and excited like a young child at the tantalizing inner visions and blissful feelings which arise naturally from their sincere effort. The emphasis on flow without end and without forcing is clarified.
The Student comprehends the value of the discipline and recognizes the path they are required to walk in order to advance. The core and psoas are transforming and invigorated, while the spine is like a straw filled with warm elixir. The mind is calm and easily dissolves all resistance and negativity.
The Student continues to master the 24 postures, as the cumulative effect of previous practice begins to harmonize the function of the endocrine glands. The inner sound becomes more clear; mental balance is kept with ease; physical strength and flexibility continue to improve, while the daily activation of the function of the endorphin system helps to shift brain chemistry into the optimal state more easily.
The Student begins to grasp the inner meaning of each posture and its reflection in their own consciousness. The regular unification of mind and body energy by the correct practice helps to nourish the shen-guang, and the healing power of the hidden catalyst becomes more and more obvious. The inner heat generated both stimulates the marrow and dissolves the granthis. The path to kensho is made clear.

Gregory Mullins
Gregory Mullins has been working in the health and wellness field since 2008, when he received the title of Yoga Siromani upon completion of the 200-hour training with the Sivananda Yoga Academy.
He followed this with the 500-hour training from the same group and earned the title of Yoga Acharya. He has also studied in the Vipassana and Zen Buddhist traditions, as well as the Tai Chi and Qi Gong styles of Taoist and Shaolin origin.
He has taught over 3,000 hours of classes ranging from traditional Hatha Yoga to modern Vinyasa flow styles, to Mindfulness Meditation, Tai Chi, Qigong, and more.
